did fleetingly wonder if this was one for us twitchers and fans of the swift in particular another day, perhaps

This was indeed one for the [Taylor] Swifties, who no doubt took about 10 seconds to crack todays words although it wouldnt have been even easier if theyd included The Tortured Poets Department .

Anyway, did you know the swift eats, bathes, sleeps, and mates while flying? Talk about multi-talented.

The oldest commercial breakfast CEREAL Grape-Nuts doesnt figure in todays
list of pulverized oats, tempered rice, toasted corn, defatted wheat germ and puffed wheat, aka CEREAL, and its many ultra-processed mouth-feels.

Of course, many cultures would never consider eating multi-colored cereals
for breakfast not even Grape-Nuts, which have managed to retain their air of sandal-wearing outdoorsy good health 127 years on consuming eggs, rice, or meat-based meals instead. Recently I lasted all of two days following a diet plan that recommended salad for breakfast.

Despite its bad reputation, cereal isnt always the worst option. Once when I was at a hostel in Amsterdam, I was given the following items for breakfast:
a crispbread, a small box of chocolate sprinkles, and a can of Heineken. Give me a bowl of Cinnamon Toast Crunch any day.

The answers to today's Strands, game #299, are NEON PERM MULLET SPANDEX JUMPSUIT WINDBREAKER SPANGRAM: EIGHTIES My rating: Easy My score: Perfect

Maybe it says something about me but I spotted the words Break and Wind
before I saw WINDBREAKER although this is possibly because its not the most obvious of EIGHTIES fashions.

SPANDEX which is an anagram of Expands seems very particular to the 1980s, but there is probably more of it around today than then, its just that we
call it Lycra now.

In the UK two very particular sub sections of the male amateur cycling community have emerged in recent years: Lycra Lads road racers so obsessed with speed and time that they dont care who gets in their way as they go
aero, and MAMILs which stands for Middle Aged Men in Lycra. I cant help thinking both would be less keen on cladding themselves in clingy fabric if
we still still called it Spandex.
