I live in Ontario, Canada and we have a current acute rating of air quality from fires burning in both halves of our country, on the edges of either
side. It was suggested that part of the disaster was caused by arson.
Imagine people would would destroy the world for their own pleasures. It's a really bad situation, with the media saying that everyone who goes outside should wear an N-95 Particulate mask. A Christian friend of mine gave me two boxes of N-95 masks, with 20 masks in each box. I have considered selling them, as a single mask goes for between $8 and $12 per mask. Twenty masks being sold for $10 a piece equates to $200 worth of masks. I could really
use $200 right now. What do you folks think I should do?

    Cheers!

My heart goes out to you - last summer in California was particularly
bad, as was the summer before Covid. I ended up picking up a HEPA
furnace filter and ran it against a box fan to help with the smoke. I
didn't think of wearing an N-95 back then.

We had smoke from the Canadian wild fires here in NYC. Wow!

You near Ottawa? It was pretty bad a couple weeks ago; the sun was red.

I'm around Toronto, we had one day that was rated 10+ on the scale out of ten. It was so bad they had to add a plus to the end to account for the level of horribleness. Really something else going on here, wowzers!!
A few weeks ago while doing a BBQ outside you could see the fog of smoke in the distance blocking out the view of the horizon. Wild times, something else.

We have fires frequently in California. A few years ago I took a MERV 16 furnace filter, zip-tied it to a box fan, and ran it near a window. It
helped a lot with the smoke inside.

HEPA is the way to go, but they were all out of stock.
