  • KIT: Parabolic Dishes for Audio Reception

    One thing I don't know much about that I'm hoping you folks would shed light
    on is the use of parabolic dishes to capture audio at a long distance. From what I understand they are excellent at receiving audio and some of these kits look really nice. How far away can you be to keep intelligibly receiving sound? Which dish do you recommend (which is the best)? What are the best dishes made out of? How much do they cost?

    Some stuff to think about, and some really cool kit.
