Might just go back to my old D'Bridge setup and get a point address
for fido anyway. I don't remember if you allow points in Micronet or
not?
Well grumble. Before I try that I'll switch to a QWK packet on your board. Looks like when I post from Pharcyde synchronet is fixing the
date issue.
I do but if you're gonna run DB, I'd rether just give you a MO node
number if Jay's okay with it and you are gonna leave DB up and running
in the background.
It's your choice, of course. I'm happy you chose to stick around after you shuttered your board.

MBSE's BW support is pretty good. I use it occasionally and never any issues with it. I use MultiMail, of course, without issues. These

This is a QWK packet from outpost using bluewave for dos but the
patched version I have used for 24 years without a problem. So I do
not expect any problems with the year in this packet.
I don't think I would run a binkp instance all the time, more just
poll and exit.
However I'm currently more interested in trying to fix
what I've got, while there is no source available for sempoint with
MBSE being opensourse if we track it to that it can be fixed. One way
or another I'll make it work. ;)

No issues with that at all.
Ditto! I called Shawn's board (racking up long distance) when I was a teenager, was happy to see he was still around when I popped back in to the hobby.

You embrased the name! ;)
What do you mean back when? ;)
I did embrace it because I do run Micronet with an iron fist. You doin't see any of the Eurotrash from Fidonet in here, right? XD
Well, with three stents in my heart and long record of cardiovascular trouble, I've had to cool down. In fact, I'll be attending my online
anger
management class in about 5 minutes...
Good for you. I calmed down just becuase I no longer care about anything too much. It's just easier for me, life won. LOL

I believe Synchronet has the auto-Y2K stuff built-in. With MBSE, I just have to add it in.
Is this Y2K stuff would fix Shawn's messages with a 2060 timestamp?
If so, do you have more details, I'd like to include that processing in clrghouz, since there are a bunch of messages data Oct 2060.

I think so but I know very little about it.
I found this:
Fido Year 2000 Tools Rel. 6 by Tobias Ernst
Oh, I was actually wanting to find out more detail about how the 2060
date is made or fixed, so that I could reverse it and put it back to
what it should be. Does MBSE do it automatically?
