    Hi everyone,

    The federally-funded Affordable Connectivity Plan ends this month due to the lack of money (since the US federal government is busy sending our money all over the world instead of fixing problems). I was able to get 600/600 fiber Internet with no data cap and a public-facing "static" IPv4 address for
    around $70 a month. I was paying USD$25 for 300/300 with that "static" IP address so I figure if I'm gonna pay, might as well go faster!

    Once I can get more income coming in, I can upgrade to 1GB/1GB for around USD$90.

    I do have LAN equipment that can handle gigabit WAN and LAN speeds. I'll be putting in a pfSense box into my LAN that has a 3.4ghz i5 and 8 GB ram in
    it, including two Intel PRO/1000 PCIe NICs.

    whats funny is for charter is see on their website they are offering some phone deal to the people for a year. why not just make it cheaper. nope. cant do that.

    they keep raising our bill up by 5 bucks every x amount of months. all we have is internet and it's out of hand. it's not getting out of hand. we are at the point where it is out of hand.

    i might go with that. but they are bullshitting me on the charges.
    like there was a one time charge for equipment. and now its zero.

    and they want me to do a credit check.
    i want to do a test drive before using them and doing all this stuff.
