The site I found the message on, osnews.com, suggested the best fix is to stop using Edge. We are forced to use it at work but, as all of my home machines are *nix machines, it is not used here. :)
So without user knowledge, M$-Edge, Micro$oft's replacement for Internet Explorer, sends images that you view online via the browser back home to Micro$oft. Also mentioned is a "bug" that leaked your
personal information to Micro$oft's Bing search engine.
A bunch of LInux computers at work are running Edge because some web applications from the government require it.
Much like how DuckDuckGo provides your browsing information to MS.
At least with Chrome, you know you're being spied on by default. <G>
