I have released the following new files:

aa28.rar : Attitude Assessment 2.8
cz47.rar : Chinese Zodiac 4.7
dspt22.rar : Dr. Seuss Purity Test 2.2
qotd16.rar : Quote of the Day 1.6
tmo154.rar : The Magic Oracle 15.4

These are all BBS doors that will run on any BBS that supports 16-bit DOS doors, a FOSSIL driver, and can produce DORINFO1.DEF or 52-line DOOR.SYS dropfiles.

I recommend upgrading to these versions (though the version numbers are the same from their respective individual original release version numbers). There are some minor code changes and all documentation was updated quite a bit.

I've hatched these through the Micronet MIN_BBS filebone. Also, you can obtain these files via the following:

. WWW: http://outpostbbs.net/cheepware.html (check in a day or two as I have to update the site)

. FTP: anonymous FTP to bbs.outpostbbs.net in /cheepware

. FREQ to 1:18/200

You can directly the contents of each archive over your old install of each door. If you have customized files for Chinese Zodiac or The Magic Oracle, be sure to back those up first before installing the new versions of each door.

Yep! Just run each door with /L on the end (for "local mode").

The name you use in the doors doesn't matter as my doors do not record
any information.

Hopefully, within a few months, you'll be able to run my doors under
Windows natively, no DOS needed.

If they offer a local mode option, yes. You would still have to set
it up as if you were putting it on a BBS.

Since he was asking about my doors, all you need to do is use <doorname>
/l (lowercase L) at the command line. I specifically built in a local
mode as FKFOSSIL does not have one. The doorkit I'm switching to has a
local mode built-in already.

I think that Sean answered your question but, just so you know, if you ever want to play some of them online, many of them are available as doors on my
GT Power board. :)
