I normally would post something every week that tells of my connections to famous
people. Sometimes, though, I don't do it because the references are a bit obscure.
Even when I don't post something, I am still receiving notices from WikiTree.com about
my relationships to others.

Previous features:

Bob Barker and notables of 99 years.
Duchess Barbara Palmer and London connections.
Timothy Berners-Lee and Internet innovators.
J. Robert Oppenheimer and Manhattan Project members.
Ruth Handler and toy inventors.
Tony Bennett and his duet singers.

We are ALL connected in some way, and this is the best site I have come across to show
our relationships.

I'm related to King Charles III through an obscure list of marriage relationships. I'm not sure how I would even trace it to me. I received a GEDCOM from someone who had a far off link. I'm probably one millions in line for the throne, so bow down you peasants, and bring me some tea!

If your Gedcom is too large, you can use Family Tree Maker to shorten it. https://www.familytreemaker.store
I have a paid version of it, but I think you can use it for free.

Once you import your Gedcom to that software, you can export any branch to a smaller
Gedcom with just the branch that you want to upload to WikiTree.

It ties into your Ancestry.com account to get any hints.

If you use it and want to know how to export as a Gedcom, there is a searchable index
that you can use to instruct you.
